Lois’ passion for horses started as a very young girl with a fascination for a neighbor’s race horses, which was the beginning of a lifelong passion for horses and everything related to horses!
During the following years Lois has been continuously involved with horses and has owned and developed several Horse Properties, in and around the Sunshine Coast area, including the establishment of Dressage Arenas, Agistment Facilities and Horse Care. Lois’ experience also includes a recent study tour of several of the best Horse Training facilities in Europe, including Celle State Stud in Germany and the historic Marbach Stud which has added hugely to her knowledge and experience.
Her love of horses has been infectious, with her twin daughters, both of whom were born very prematurely and with some consequent disability, also catching the bug. This resulted in a 10 year involvement with “Riding for the Disabled”, with one of the girls becoming an accomplished Dressage Rider and eventually competing in the RDA State Championships.
Lois’ association with Henzell’s Rural came about through the sale of her most recent “horse property”, in preparation for a move to Toowoomba, where, coincidentally, we were planning to establish a new office exclusively devoted to the marketing of rural properties and had been looking for someone with exactly the attributes that she has……… the rest is history, as they say!!
